The overheating pattern
Dogs release heat mainly through contact, so the surface she rests on matters more than the room.

She keeps circling for a cooler spot because the surface under her — not the air around her — is holding the heat.

Dogs release body heat mainly through contact with what they're lying on, so a heat-trapping surface works against her all night.

A surface that keeps releasing heat instead of holding it means she can stop moving and actually rest.
How it actually cools
The Ice-Silk layer keeps pulling warmth away through ongoing contact — no gel, no power, no freezing required.

What's inside
Every layer plays a role in getting warmth away from her body and out into the air.
Embedded ice micro-crystals keep the contact surface cool to the touch.
A soft cushioned layer for comfortable, supported resting.
Moves easily between rooms, the car, and the crate.
Machine wash at 30–40°C and air dry.
Why it's different
Built for continuous cooling, gel-free safety, and everyday portability — not just an initial cool touch.

What dog owners are saying
Questions before you order
No — that's part of what makes it practical. The Ice-Silk surface works through passive heat conduction, not electricity or refrigerants. Your dog lies down and the mat does its job automatically. No prep time, no maintenance between uses.
Some dogs use it within minutes. Others take a day or two. We recommend placing it in a spot she already gravitates toward — near her water bowl, in her usual sleep corner, or wherever she tends to land when she's feeling warm.

I couldn't believe how fast my oldest dog took to this mat the moment I set it down. Within minutes she was lying right on it. She's usually restless in the evenings searching for a cooler spot to rest, but when this mat is out she stays on it for hours. Exactly what I was hoping for!

Thank you so much for the mat. I notice she's a lot more settled and rests in one position for longer now, instead of constantly getting up and moving around. My girl & I are very happy with the product.

Yes. There are no chemical gels, no toxic compounds, and no electrical parts. The materials are non-toxic and suitable across all life stages. As with any fabric product, it's meant for resting rather than chewing — heavy chewers should be monitored, especially during the first few uses.
Intentionally. A rubber backing would block the airflow beneath the mat and reduce heat dissipation — the opposite of what you want. The thin, breathable base is functional, not an oversight. On very smooth surfaces, positioning the mat against a wall or on a rug keeps it in place without compromising the cooling.
It's built for daily resting use under normal household conditions. With regular use and proper care, the fabric holds up well. It's not designed to withstand chewing or aggressive scratching — used as intended, it's durable.
